Prayers for When You are Sick

“One day, while Jesus was in one of the cities, a man covered with leprosy saw Jesus and fell on his face, begging him, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.  So Jesush reached out his hand and touched him, saying, “I do want to. Be clean!” Instantly the leprosy left him”  (Luke 5:12-13).

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”  (John 10:10).

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:14-15).

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed” (James 5:16a). “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting” (Matthew 17:21).
