You have seemed to leave out how to lose the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, I cast out none, I lose none. Why are you calling him a liar? Jesus said he will ask the Father to send the Comforter, AKA Holy Spirit who will abide with us forever. Also in Hebrews 13:6, I will never leave you nor forsake you. How is salvation lost when Jesus never leaves us? Who holds our salvation?
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, How is salvation lost with Jesus holding us up and presenting us faultless? Who keeps us from falling?

Thank you for a well-written, well-researched article. My heart and my mind meet in the Scriptures about 'overcoming', and the "if" verses you listed, which list I have also gathered together, at some point. Also, Jesus Himself tells us over and over again to stand strong / firm / steadfast in our faith until He comes or until the last moment of life on earth. Would He not have told us to 'relax' in our security of salvation if it were so? But He doesn't say that. Our LORD is adamant about standing firmly in HIM, in His strength, not our own, so that "not one will take away your crown." I want to ask the OSAS'ers "Which crown?" Jesus is talking about the Crown of Life (Rev. 3:10-11) Personally I do not disagree with OSAS'ers that I cannot win salvation on my own. Jesus was sent to earth to do that for me, for all of us, according to John 3:16. It is a gift. And my acceptance of that gift cannot be considered 'works'. Acceptance is just that. Again, thatnks for this article. God bless and keep you. Maranatha!

Wow what a bunch of heresy and twisting of scriptures. So I guess when Christ said it is Finished, you yell back no it’s not I’ll save myself.

People that’s why Paul says work out your own salvation... Notice work out not for... because of wolves in sheep’s clothing bringing in heresy like this... you got to search the scriptures and study the Bible for yourself.

The whole Bible is a transition from Jews only to Gentiles then back again to Jews during the 7 year tribulation...

You got to know where you fit in.

If you believed the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 How Christ died for our sins and that he was buried and that he rose again the 3rd day according to the scriptures.... His blood atoning sacrifice for our sins then you can never loose your salvation.... according to Eph 1:13 and Acts 20:28; Rev 1:5... you were purchased with his blood and sealed with the Holy Spirit the nanosecond you believed The Gospel with your heart.

Get a KJB and stop listening to Romans Catholic and Gnostic teachings...

There’s a way that seems right on to a men but in the end is death....
